Strathclyde, Worldwide
The Strathclyde MBA has been available outside the UK since 1988, and over 5000 participants have now graduated with a Strathclyde MBA. Currently, over 1600 are studying the programme in their own countries. The success is the result of a flexible learning delivery structure, that combines part-time, full-time and open learning modes of study. This approach allows participants to graduate within 2 years of starting the programme. However, study may be spread over a longer period if desired. Top of page
What's Involved ?
When you study part time via one of our international centres, your study will involve:-
- attendance at intensive seminars provided by the same Strathclyde academics who teach on the full-time Strathclyde MBA course.
- open learning study supported by regular, local counselling sessions, delivered by approved local counsellors
- an option to undertake elective subjects on a full-time basis in Glasgow via our summer schools.This provides an excellent opportunity to meet and mix with course members from other Strathclyde international centres and UK-based study routes.
Extensive Support
The Strathclyde MBA consists of a number of learning components. Extensive course notes will be provided for each subject and these will provide both tuition and commentaries on leading textbooks which are included with the course material. The materials are supported by local counselling sessions at each of the centres, provided by SBS approved counsellors. In addition, University of Strathclyde faculty staff will provide almost two hundred hours of teaching and workshops at the centres. Although attendance at the local counselling sessions and most of the intensive seminars provided by visiting Strathclyde faculty is voluntary, you will be required to attend several workshops spread over the two year instructional part of the course.
